We visited on Sunday, despite the restaurant being full, we were pleasantly surprised to get a table without a wait. The ambiance was homely, providing a comforting and inviting atmosphere.
We started with Ulundu Dosa, which was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, served with a variety of chutneys that complemented it perfectly. The Vada Rassam was another highlight, with the vada being perfectly crispy and the rassam full of robust flavors. The Butter Podi Idli was a delightful twist on the classic idli, with the butter and podi adding a rich, spicy flavor.
The Bisibele Bhat (rice) was hearty and well-seasoned, making for a satisfying main course. We concluded our meal with traditional Filter Coffee, which was strong, aromatic, and served as the perfect end to a delicious meal.
Overall, the food was exceptional, and the service was efficient despite the busy atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic South Indian cuisine near Fort, Mumbai

One of my core memories in Mumbai's Fort area is enjoying my lunch at Poornima. A must try. Authentic, fresh and so flavourfull. I know I won't find such dishes at such price anywhere else.

Dahi bhata , butter milk, coffee all this I have eaten over my multiple visit to this hotel, one branch in Lower Parel Also , another branch by name swaghat in fort itself , looks like food is from central kitchen hence all three places . Same quality is maintained.
Today, again I am visiting Poornima Restaurant . I tell the price of all the food I eat. 1) Mendu Vada = 71 Rupee, 2)Thatte Idli( SIN-PORTION) = 72 Rupee, 3)Mysore Masala Dosa = 95 Rupees, 4) Bisibele Bhath= 105 Rupees.
Sub Total 343 ( CGST 2.5% 8.57+ SGST 2.5% 8.57) = Food Total Bill amount 360.14
Kenny Anna and Rohit's service is very good. After I tired testing one dish, immediately I called Kenny Anna to give me another dish for tasting.

Great place for snacks, south Indian, light lunch meals and their traditional thali. Very clean and hygienic. They have a new air conditioned outlet next door. Great filter coffee and utter milk.

Needed a quick coffee break during weekday rush and stopped here.
Probably the best decision, the coffee was extremely well made as per the need (strong and less sweet).
Quick service like most udupi restaurants in Mumbai.
Must visit.
Clean and easy on the pocket with a filling meal.

Went after many years for breakfast. Fresh, amazing, authentic South Indian food. Hand down can beat any 5-star in taste. Was a very relaxed family time; as it was a holiday, it was not crowded.
